If you've ever entered the luscious heaven that is a T2 Tea store, you might have been overwhelmed with the colossal selection of teas that they offer. From creamy caramels to fruity tisanes, choosing the perfect brew is practically impossible. So, I thought I'd offer a helping hand by ranking my favourites.
1. Canberra Breakfast
My absolute favourite tea, this blend combines the smooth taste of coconut and creamy oats with black tea to emulate the taste of the famous ANZAC biscuit. The best way to serve is with a dash of full cream milk, and a small teaspoon of brown sugar, to create a mouth-watering concoction of flavour. Plus, you get an adorable tin to keep your tea fresh.
2. Caramel Brownie
A mouth-wateringly rich blend of chocolate and caramel, this tea is perfect to be enjoyed on cold winter mornings, afternoons and evenings. I enjoy the blend with skim milk and a drop of chocolate stevia, for a rich elixir that emulates the gooiest of brownies.
3. Pumping Pomegranate
My mum's favourite, this fruity tisane is perfect for a summer iced tea, or to be enjoyed in the winter as a soothing brew with some honey and lemon. It has a sweet and tangy flavour, and T2 describes it as being the "essence of the Great Bazzar" in Istanbul. And, just like some other teas, you get this charming tin to keep it fresh. How cute.
4. Strawberries and Cream
Another fruity brew, this tea is perfect to be enjoyed in the breezy spring afternoon sun, with perhaps a sweet or two on the side. With its major notes of strawberry with hints of cream and florals in the background, it holds the magical ability to transport the drinker from their living room to a peaceful picnic in picturesque strawberry fields.
5. English Breakfast
And of course, how can I call myself a teaholic without including the absolute classic. This tea can be enjoyed all year round, and I sip mine with a dash of milk and some honey, which adds some sweetness to this tea's famous aroma and flavour. A bonus of buying this tea is that the tea bags are 100% plant based, making your tea-drinking experience all the more sweeter.
To conclude, it is my belief that T2 offers an amazing selection of mouth-watering teas that can suit everyone's tastes. The ones I have mentioned are simply the ones I have tried and adored, and I encourage everyone who enjoys drinking tea to try as many of their brews as they can. Many of my treasured memories are taste testing all the teas at the counters of various T2 stores with friends and family, and it is something I recommended to anyone who happens to walk past the black and orange storefront of a T2 store, and most of all, I hope you ENJOY :)
